Inventory Coordinator Per Diem

As an Inventory Coordinator Per Diem with Fresenius Medical Care North America, you will be responsible for maintaining and reconciling inventory on a daily basis. Your role will involve assisting in the administration, purchasing, tracking, and monitoring of assets, as well as assessing inventory data.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under close supervision, you will acquire job skills and learn company policies and procedures to complete routine inventory control tasks. You will utilize a computerized inventory management system, implement and maintain inventory control system procedures, and provide accurate and timely data on inventory levels. Additionally, you will ensure efficient and effective inventory management, ensure compliance with all pertinent company and regulatory standards and processes, track product in stock accurately, and develop a program to maintain tight security over the inventory. You will also facilitate inventory shortage detection, conduct searches to locate products within the system, ensure discrepancies are identified, corrected, and prevented, and maintain and update inventory purchasing, shipping, and other applicable records in the database. Furthermore, you will reconcile inventories to book records and make the appropriate adjustments to the records when there are discrepancies between the actual product and records. You will also coordinate the cycle count inventory procedures, identify and recommend process and program improvements as well as cost-saving opportunities as appropriate, and report to your manager areas of concern regarding issues with inventory control. You will supervise the inventory quality and accuracy assurance programs, including weekly and monthly reports, develop appropriate reports and documentation to facilitate accurate inventory counts, analyze inventory records and data reports to effectively manage inventory, and prepare reports such as inventory balances, price lists, shortage lists, lists of defective or damaged product, etc. for analysis and recommendations. You will also complete and issue all necessary records and reports, including filing invoices and maintaining customer records in a timely and accurate fashion, ensure appropriate actions are taken to develop positive business relationships and to meet expectations of customers, and work on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment. You will normally receive detailed instructions on all work and may refer to higher-level employees with assistance with day-to-day problems that may arise. You will also escalate issues to your supervisor for resolution, as deemed necessary, and review and comply with the Code of Business Conduct and all applicable company policies and procedures, local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Additionally, you will assist with various projects as assigned by your direct supervisor and perform other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma required. Minimum 0-1 year of related experience. Knowledge of management procedures and general warehousing terminology and practices. Basic knowledge of Windows-based computer systems and related software applications required. Basic math skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Excellent command of English language. Strong detail orientation, follow-up, and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines and commitments. Ability to help identify new procedures to improve efficiencies. The rate of pay for this position will depend on the successful candidate's work location and qualifications, including relevant education, work experience, skills, and competencies. Hourly Rate: $
