Job OverviewThe Human Resources Business Partner is a trusted advisor who collaborates with member agencies to achieve PHMC's goals. This role serves as a member of the Human Resources team, providing human resources services to internal clients with diverse needs and goals.
The Business Partner acts as an internal consultant to management teams, supervisors, and employees on human resources issues affecting performance and business relationships. Responsibilities include managing various human resources programs, such as onboarding and offboarding, employee relations, performance management, talent assessment, compensation, benefits, promotions, equal opportunity initiatives, and education and training.
The Business Partner may travel to different locations within the PHMC enterprise as needed. Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including FLSA, FMLA, OSHA, EEO, and Wage and Hour, is a key responsibility.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in human resources, business administration, or a related field
- Preferred: Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification
- Six or more years of generalist experience in a high-volume, fast-paced professional services organization with 2,000+ employees serving multiple sites
- Applied experience in a broad range of employee-related programs, including employee relations, policy administration, performance management, organizational effectiveness, benefits administration, compensation, and salary planning
- Experience and comfort consulting with managers, providing candid and direct feedback
The ideal candidate has:
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and support senior-level initiatives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and organizational agility
- Facilitation skills
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to effectively utilize Microsoft applications, such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
Salary is commensurate with education and experience. PHMC offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, life insurance, long-term disability coverage, tuition reimbursement, company-paid holidays, vacation, sick, and personal days.
