We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Graduate Nurse to join our team at St. Joseph's Hospital. As a Graduate Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver patient care through the use of the nursing process, demonstrating competent clinical practice and critical thinking skills.
- Accept accountability for the delivery of nursing care, applying independent nursing judgment and collaborating with healthcare providers to achieve quality patient care outcomes.
- Assess and interpret patient data, identifying each patient's requirements relative to their age-specific needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, promoting patient growth and development over the life span.
- Current unencumbered licensure with the WV Board of Registered Professional Nurses or appropriate state board where services will be provided.
- Obtain licensure within 60 days of hire, with licenses must be obtained before expiration date of the temporary permit unless deemed not possible due to temporary closure of NCLEX testing centers.
- Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN) or Associates of Science in Nursing Degree (ASN) or Diploma, currently enrolled in a BSN program and BSN completed within 5 years of hire.
