About the Role

The Merchandising Specialist is responsible for building and maintaining displays, replenishing inventory, and ensuring product integrity in customer outlets. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement visually appealing displays and merchandising strategies to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Rotate and replenish products in customer outlets, including displays, racks, and all company equipment.
  • Maintain product integrity in every account, including neatly stacked, condensed, and rotated backstock, clean coolers and racks.
  • Organize and collect any breakage or out-of-date product, including empty shells and pallets.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to leadership on competitive threats and business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team and Delivery Drivers to execute the sales strategy.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with all customers, as well as providing superior customer service.
  • Ability to work with all functional team members.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Minimum age of 18 years old.
  • Valid driver's license required and obligation to maintain compliance with company fleet policy.
  • Reliable vehicle required.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with company safety policies.
  • Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within company guidelines.
  • Ability to maintain safety and security of company assets.
  • Ability to utilize all company provided resources and technology.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 3 to 6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, exposure to weather, and noise.
  • Ability to work a flexible or rotating schedule.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively in fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to respond and resolve to any customer issues.
  • Ability to self-motivate and ability to perform job duties with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Previous merchandising experience preferred.
