Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Service Delivery to identify essential resources for project success.
  • Engage with Technical Assent's Finance, Growth, and Capability teams to fulfill portfolio management responsibilities.
  • Work cohesively within the Service Delivery team to enhance service delivery, ensuring exceptional outcomes and client satisfaction while contributing to profitability.
  • Act as Project Executive for a designated portfolio of projects.
  • Oversee multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) across various projects.
  • Provide leadership and support to Project Managers within the assigned portfolio, offering training and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist Project Managers in developing and executing project plans that align with contract specifications and meet client objectives.
  • Guide Project Managers in forming cohesive teams of consultants to implement project plans and achieve high-quality client outcomes.
  • Support Project Managers in financial oversight, including budget tracking and forecasting.
  • Ensure clear task delegation among project managers and support staff.
  • Identify and manage project risks independently with project managers.
  • Lead discussions with government contracting officers and clients, including senior officials, regarding project objectives and requirements.
  • Facilitate information sharing among Project Managers and Portfolio Managers to enhance client outcomes and identify growth opportunities.
  • Participate in Talent Management initiatives within the portfolio, including staffing forecasts and recruitment efforts.
  • Drive business development activities, focusing on securing follow-on work and expanding opportunities within the portfolio.
  • Establish partnerships with potential subcontractors and prime contractors to enhance capabilities.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with clients and prospects through well-informed recommendations.
  • Mentor Project Managers and staff in providing their expertise to support business development efforts.
  • Enhance the contribution margin of awarded contracts by developing and maintaining organizational capabilities.
  • Share knowledge and expertise through presentations and writing.
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor consistent with Technical Assent's core values.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years of experience in government consulting
  • Proven experience managing projects in accordance with PMBOK best practices.
  • Experience with managing BPAs.
  • Experience with large government IDIQs valued at $10 million or more.
  • Experience in consulting engagements related to Service Design, Customer Experience, Employee Experience, Human-Centered Design, or Business Process Improvement.
  • Understanding of various government contract types and effective project management within each framework.
  • Experience managing stakeholders from government and industry partners.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for executive-level interactions.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in Human-Centered Design or related fields.
  • Experience consulting for the Federal government.
  • Project Management Certification (PMP).
Job Location and Travel Expectations:
  • This position is remote with anticipated travel of less than 25%.
  • Some meetings may require on-site attendance.
