Position: Quality Assurance Technician - Day Shift
A prominent organization in the healthcare technology sector is seeking to recruit a Quality Assurance Technician. This role is structured as a temporary position with the potential for permanent employment.
Working Hours:
7AM to 3:30PM
Compensation:
$22 - $25 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts evaluations on subassemblies, final products, and completed medical devices according to established specifications, including customer-directed testing protocols and documentation.
- Testing responsibilities may encompass:
- Electrical Safety Evaluations (HiPot, Ground Bond, Leakage assessments).
- Pressure and Leak assessments.
- Laser alignment testing in both near and far fields.
- Optical alignment procedures.
- Testing of optical sub-assemblies.
- Performance validation utilizing both automated and graphical user interface testing software.
- Functional assessments at both subassembly and finished product levels.
- Troubleshooting with various instruments, including but not limited to Digital Volt Meters, Ammeters, and Oscilloscopes.
- Documenting and logging test results using applications such as Word, Excel, LabVIEW, and StarLab.
- Executing additional tests and troubleshooting as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional customer service mindset.
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; further education or degree is advantageous.
- Prior experience in medical device production is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in electro-mechanical testing is desirable.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend detailed instructions, testing procedures, and documentation in English.
- Familiarity with high-voltage testing, ground bond assessments, and electrical safety evaluations is a plus.
- Proficient in computer usage, particularly Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), with the capability to install software and manage various testing applications.
