HVAC Technician

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at Knoebels Grove. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

• Install, service, and repair HVAC equipment and components
• Investigate and resolve problems with mechanical and electrical equipment in heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment and check and change air filters regularly
• Collaborate with department managers to maintain HVAC and restaurant equipment
• Stay up-to-date on park background information and current events
• Perform cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe work area

• Minimum age 18
• Successful completion of an 18-month HVAC/R certificate preferred
• 2+ years of HVAC/R technical experience preferred
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to read electrical schematics, plans, and manuals
• Ability to work in a semi-indoor, indoor air-conditioned, and outdoor environment
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to people in a friendly and professional manner
• Proficiency in basic computer skills to access information via the Knoebels website
• Outgoing personality with a strong commitment to customer service and the Knoebel company
• Dependable, reliable, prompt, efficient, trustworthy, adaptable, organized, and a team player
• Upbeat, energetic, self-motivated, and able to stay focused
• Ability to remain calm in times of stress

This is a seasonal part-time or full-time position with shifts between 8:00 am and 11:00 pm, averaging 8-10 hours per day, 5-6 days per week, with evening and weekend hours required.
