Job Title: Personal Banker

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Personal Banker to join our Vernon Branch team at Citizens Bank - WI.

Job Summary:

The Personal Banker will be responsible for building strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and support. This includes handling a wide range of transactions, answering customer inquiries, and promoting bank products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent the bank to customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Listen to and assess customer needs, and provide effective solutions
  • Process transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments
  • Answer customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain security controls to protect against criminal or fraudulent activity
  • Assist customers with account inquiries and provide information on bank products and services
  • Process wire transfers, changes of address, and stop payments
  • Unlock and reset NetTeller accounts
  • Process CD deposits and batching
  • Process account status changes
  • Enroll customers in Good Life Club
  • Redeem savings bonds
  • Assist customers with balancing accounts
  • Order customer checks
  • Create new CIFs
  • Purchase and redeem foreign currency
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1-2 years of related experience in banking required
  • Vault experience preferred
  • Personal banking experience preferred
  • High level of professionalism
  • Basic computer skills, using Word, Excel, Internet, e-mail, and other data or software programs and applications
  • Professional communication skills
  • High level of confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational skills
