Position Summary: The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and will be responsible for overseeing various accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and report all monthly financial data promptly.
  • Supervise the maintenance of general ledger accounts, including bank reconciliations, payroll entries, accounts payable, and necessary adjustments.
  • Timely posting of all financial transactions, including complex journal entries related to payroll and other adjustments.
  • Conduct payroll processing and analysis bi-weekly using ADP systems.
  • Oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring timely processing and payment of invoices, and addressing vendor inquiries.
  • Handle treasury functions such as wire transfers and internal payments, ensuring all bank transactions are verified daily.
  • Assist in developing and implementing financial management policies and procedures.
  • Manage 401K and HSA reporting and reconciliation tasks.
  • Gather and provide information for audit inquiries and support auditors as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Controller on special projects and process improvements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
