REQUIRED: SHEET METAL SHOP EXPERIENCE

Position Overview
We are looking for a qualified Sheet Metal Fabricator with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all warehouse functions, ensuring that receiving, distribution, and storage processes operate seamlessly and efficiently. Key responsibilities include fabricating architectural sheet metal, accurately interpreting shop drawings, preparing shop orders, maintaining organized inventory, processing orders with precision, ensuring timely shipments, and producing error-free invoices. The ideal applicant will possess strong organizational skills and a background in warehouse operations or logistics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily warehouse operations
  • Demonstrate expertise in fabricating architectural sheet metal
  • Guarantee timely shipping of orders and customer satisfaction
  • Manage daily communications and respond to emails
  • Develop work schedules for staff
  • Oversee inventory management from receipt to shipment
  • Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards
  • Train employees on safety protocols to minimize workplace accidents
  • Facilitate communication among vendors, clients, employees, and company leadership to promote cohesive operations
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Prior experience as a Sheet Metal Warehouse Fabricator is essential
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • Knowledge of state and federal safety regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
