Job Summary

CVD Equipment Corporation, a leading manufacturer of advanced equipment and process solutions, is seeking an Electrical Assembler/Wirer to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling electrical and electronic circuits and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively adhere to all safety standards and established protocols.
• Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, and work orders.
• Identify components and wiring information from schematics and perform point-to-point wiring.
• Install electro-mechanical components to custom main frame assemblies.
• Identify and select appropriate wire gauge in accordance with NFPA 70 NEC.
• Perform cabling, harnessing, and PCA manufacturing.
• Ensure product conformance to specification.
• Operate small hand and power tools such as drills, taps, etc.

Requirements:

• High School graduate or equivalent with Vocational/Trade School/Military training in Electrical Concepts or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of relevant electrical assembly and wiring experience.
• Will apprentice.

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

• Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Skills required in handling basic or simple tools and/or measuring devices such as tape measure, caliper, etc.
• Dexterity skills, good hand and eye coordination.
• Attention to detail.
• Reliable and punctual.
