About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Genoa Healthcare in El Paso, TX. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting the pharmacy functions and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and clinic staff
  • Fills prescription orders and verifies medication stock under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist
  • Orders, receives, and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
  • Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
  • Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
  • Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and ensuring compliance with federal and state requirements
  • Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
  • Communicates effectively with colleagues and patients

Requirements
  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Texas
  • Access to reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • Previous pharmacy technician experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
