Dental Care Specialist

About the Role:
KurzSolutions is seeking a highly skilled Dentist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and delivering high-quality dental services.
Responsibilities:
- Meeting with patients to discuss and treat dental concerns, performing regular cleanings and other preventative procedures, and establishing a plan for better dental hygiene.
- Performing dental procedures, such as extractions, root canals, and filling cavities.
- Correcting bite issues and overcrowding.
- Applying helpful agents to teeth, such as sealants or whiteners.
- Prescribing medications for dental problems, such as pain medications or antibiotics.
- Giving clients sedatives or anesthesia prior to administering treatments.
- Ordering diagnostic measures, such as x-rays, models, etc.
- Using tools, such as drills, probes, brushes, or mirrors, to examine and treat teeth and mouth.
- Keeping records relating to the oral health of patients and the treatments given to them.
- Managing and communicating with other staff members to provide care to patients.
Requirements:
- Must have a Doctor of Medical in Dentistry (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.
- Must be a graduate from an accredited dental school approved by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) of the American Dental Association (ADA).
- Specialty Dentist must be a graduate of a dental specialty training program that is accredited by the CODA or the ADA or an accepted equivalent program.
Certification:
Board eligible or board certified as required.
Experience:
As required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the Service Specific Credentialing instruction.
Shall have a minimum of one (1) full year experience being employed on a full-time basis in the practice of dentistry, or be a recent 1-year graduate of an accredited, post-graduate dentistry training program.
Dental specialists shall have a certificate of training in their specialty area from an ADA accredited residency program.
Must have a current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a dentist.
