Baker and Packager Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Baker and Packager Associate to join our team at Sam's Club. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing fresh baked items daily, following recipes and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.

• Be a Team Player: Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team, communicate effectively, and be flexible to meet the needs of the business.
• Be an Expert: Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs, operate baking equipment, follow recipes/make-up instructions, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement, utilizing handheld technology to make immediate business decisions.
• Be an Owner: Ensure commitment to operational excellence, maintain work area according to company policies and procedures, and ensure quality and date control standards for bakery items.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Be an advocate for the department and the club, valuing the member's experience and modeling high-quality service and products.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
