Environmental Systems Maintenance Expert

Role Overview:
This commercial HVAC technician role involves performing routine maintenance and repairs of commercial heating and air conditioning equipment, conducting preventive maintenance inspections of mechanical systems and equipment, and ordering replacement parts and materials as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pneumatic and digital controls and be able to follow oral and written instructions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs of commercial HVAC equipment
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections of mechanical systems and equipment
- Order replacement parts and materials as needed
- Maintain Refrigerant Control Logs according to EPA Regulations
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a mechanical trade apprenticeship preferred
- Valid Journeyman's License in HVAC
- Strong knowledge of approved methods, practices, techniques, tools, and equipment used in replacing, repairing, and maintaining commercial air conditioning, compressors, chillers, cooling towers, terminal units
Working Conditions:
- The employee will be required to use information technology systems to receive work assignments and other communications.
- The employee must be able to follow oral and written instructions, communicate effectively, and work cooperatively with others.
