Position Overview:
As a vital member of our 4A Inpatient Rehabilitation unit, the Nursing Assistant plays a key role in enhancing patient recovery and comfort. This position requires a compassionate individual dedicated to providing high-quality care to patients during their rehabilitation journey.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting patients with daily living activities, including bathing, feeding, and mobility.
  • Monitoring vital signs and performing point-of-care testing.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients.
  • Communicating effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Documenting patient activities and care in medical records.

Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to support patient needs and enhance the overall patient experience. Develop strong working relationships and demonstrate accountability in all tasks.

Patient Care Duties:
Provide direct care as directed by the Registered Nurse, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times. Assist in delivering meals and personal items to patients.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with successful completion of a nursing assistant training program preferred. Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) is advantageous. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.

Licensure and Certifications:
CPR certification is required, with training to be completed within the first month of employment. Additional certifications such as ACLS and BLS are preferred.
