The Logistics Associate Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Associate to join our team at Avantor. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials within our warehouse and transportation network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct courier services and ensure vehicle logs and driving records are up to date.
  • Complete packaging and shipping of materials following regulatory requirements and transportation guidelines.
  • Verify receipts to ensure damage-free products are introduced into our system, discrepancies are properly documented, and accurate records are maintained.
  • Place all incoming and outgoing materials in appropriate staging and storage locations.
  • Promote the importance of inventory accuracy and aid all other coworkers in all inventory movements as necessary.
  • Ensure Receiving/Warehouse areas are safe, clean, and presentable at all times.
  • Knowledgeable of Standard Operating Procedures of the Archives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by appropriate supervisory personnel.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate (or equivalent).
  • Able to follow written and/or verbal instructions.
  • Capable of producing quality work.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to use Microsoft office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds on a regular basis and operate equipment associated with a warehouse / archive (forklift, etc.).
  • Have a general understanding of PPE and MSDS.
