What We Are Looking For.

We are seeking a Senior Web Developer with a proven track record in Java/J2EE, MVC frameworks. The ideal candidate will be a Senior Java Developer who always keeps the big picture in mind without forgetting about the details. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with modern technology in a team setting and wants to work with really talented web developers and passionate people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • BS Degree in Computer Science
  • 5+ years of IT experience
  • 5+ years' experience working on all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle
  • Experience working with customers to build and formulate business requirements
  • Web Application Development experience in Java/J2EE environment including JPA, MVC frameworks, CSS, JSON/XML Technologies, Spring, Hibernate, and HTML
  • Experience in an Enterprise Database Management System, preferably Oracle
  • Experience with PL/SQL

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Rest services, Angular/React JS, Business Objects/APEX reporting tool, Message queues, Source Control environments such as SVN or GIT, configuring application servers such as JBoss and Tomcat
  • Experience with Unix/Linux OS and shell scripting
  • Experience using Docker/Kubernetes is considered a plus
  • Experience creating automated build scripts (Ant/Gradle)
  • Experience with JVM languages such as Groovy is considered a plus
