Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Monitor and report any changes in resident condition, including vital signs, weight, and other relevant information.
- Participate in care planning and implementation, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure resident-centered care.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare staff, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.
- Assist with new admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring a smooth transition for residents and families.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Current Michigan Certified Nurse Aide Certification or eligibility to test within 4 months of hire.
- One year of experience in long-term care, hospice, or healthcare desired.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
