Job Title: General Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Maintenance Worker to join our team at ETE Reman. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our building.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Janitorial: Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping, and janitorial tasks to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Minor Repairs: Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls, and other minor repairs to maintain the integrity of our building.
  • Electrical and Plumbing: Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues and perform repairs as needed.
  • Appliance Installation: Install appliances and equipment as required.
  • Garden and Yard Maintenance: Perform garden and yard upkeep by mowing lawn, collecting trash, and ensuring the exterior of our building is clean and tidy.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, changing filters, and inspecting and troubleshooting equipment and systems.
  • Safety Systems: Check functionality of safety systems, such as fire alarms, and report any issues to the facilities manager.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations and report to the facilities manager for issues.
  • Adherence to Safety Rules: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment and adhere to all safety rules.
Essential Functions:
  • Experience and Knowledge: Proven experience as an assistant director or other similar position and basic knowledge of production equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Very good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
  • Physical Demands: Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime and ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Education and Certifications: High school diploma preferred and willingness to work with chemicals.
  • Time Management and Decision-Making: Have a Can-Do Attitude, with good time management, communication, and decision-making skills.
