Clinical Liaison for Respiratory Care

Life Tech is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Clinical Liaison to support our expanding home-care services. This role is essential for those who are passionate about providing care to medically fragile patients, including children and adults who rely on ventilators.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Clinical Liaison, you will:
- Report any unethical or suspicious activities to the Compliance Officer.
- Represent Life Tech professionally in all interactions with clients and patients.
- Develop new business opportunities with potential referral sources and clients.
- Engage in negotiations with referral organizations as needed.
- Enhance existing relationships with referral sources and clients, focusing on customer retention.
- Attend industry events to promote the company’s image and reputation.
- Maintain accurate records of sales and marketing activities, ensuring effective communication with other departments.
- Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies.
- Contribute to the Company’s Performance Improvement program as requested.
- Engage in continuing education relevant to your role.
- Deliver and set up respiratory therapy equipment, including oxygen therapy, CPAP/BIPAP, and nebulization therapy.
- Educate clients and caregivers on the proper use of respiratory therapy equipment.
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues during emergencies.
- Complete documentation of client visits and communicate clinical progress to physicians.
- Report any equipment hazards or incidents as per company policy.
- Ensure appointment statuses are updated daily in the system.
- Complete necessary documentation within 48 hours.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the VP of Business Development.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- RCP/RRT certification with the appropriate state licenses.
- Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
- A minimum of two years of experience in the home medical equipment or home health industry, with a preference for sales and marketing experience.
- Knowledge of third-party payer policies.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including word processing and internet usage.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $75,000 - $81,000 annually
