Bioinformatics Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Bioinformatics Scientist to join our innovative team at Protillion Biosciences. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing computational pipelines that support our high-throughput drug development system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement computational pipelines using Nextflow to support our drug development R&D.
• Develop data visualization tools to facilitate data analysis and decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver bioinformatics solutions.
• Stay current with the latest bioinformatics tools and technologies to continuously improve our processes.

Requirements:

• Expert proficiency in at least one scriptable coding language such as Python, R, C++, or Java.
• Experience with Nextflow and Groovy for bioinformatic workflow management.
• Strong knowledge of data visualization techniques and tools.
• Experience with MongoDB or similar database management of large data.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with high-throughput data analysis.
• Domain knowledge in immunology and antibody engineering.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000-$150,000 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.

Carlsbad, CA. We are recruiting candidates within a 1-hour commute of Carlsbad, CA for a nominally in-person position with a great team.
