As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care, incorporating evidence-based practices and research to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide direct care to assigned patients, including administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families on health management and self-care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and safety.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, ensuring clear and concise information exchange.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- One year of experience as a Registered Nurse (or completion of the Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program)
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina
