We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Piedmont McDuffie Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality cardiac ultrasound tests and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform inpatient and outpatient cardiac ultrasound testing, including 2D echo and Doppler exams with bubble study and contrast.
- Provide complex technical care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients using ultrasound technology.
- Document and report preliminary exam findings accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Graduate of a registry-approved ultrasound program or equivalent experience.
- Current registered or registry-eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
- Two years of related experience as a hospital inpatient or outpatient/ambulatory cardiac sonographer preferred.
