Additionally, they should have current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) certification and at least one year of experience as a Nurse. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating total nursing care and functions in accordance with established philosophy. They will provide clinical supervision for entry-level nurses and assist in their development. The successful candidate will be able to assess patients quickly, prioritize, and assist in minor procedures. They will also manage patient check-in processes, perform triage work for doctors, and assist with initial insurance paperwork. Effective communication with doctors and patients is essential, as well as collaboration with laboratory personnel and reporting lab findings back to doctors. In emergency scenarios, the Registered Nurse will demonstrate sound decision-making based on patient conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to provide RN care for all patients, handle intubations, defibrillations, auto transfusions, Medlock insertions, splinting, and more.
