Job Summary

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive evaluations and assessments to patients and their families. You will work closely with the rehabilitation team to set measurable objectives and goals, and adjust treatment plans to achieve maximum results in independence and function.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide empirically based psychological interventions to patients and families, promoting community reintegration and independence.
  • Design and implement community reintegration activities to support patients' psychological and cognitive needs.
  • Communicate patient progress and needs to the treatment team, physician, and family members.
  • Consult with medical providers to ensure effective treatment and discharge planning.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress.
  • Adhere to company policies, HIPAA, and professional practice standards.


Qualifications

  • Master's or doctoral degree in counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current professional license and/or certification as required by the state of practice.
  • Minimum one year of post-master's degree clinical experience in counseling individuals with traumatic or acquired brain injuries or related neurological conditions.
  • Knowledge of complex neurologic injury rehabilitation techniques.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
