About the Role

This position is a fantastic opportunity for a Speech Language Pathology Clinical Fellow to gain experience and receive mentorship in a supportive school environment. As a full-time, onsite Clinical Specialist, you will work closely with a team of experienced professionals to provide therapy services to high school students. The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, be licensed by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR), and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Under the supervision of experienced SLPs, assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech and language disorders.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to students' specific communication needs.
  • Provide individual and group therapy to students, focusing on speech and language development.

The successful candidate will also participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings, providing valuable input on students' communication needs. Additionally, they will assist students in the classroom by offering speech and language support, including providing recommendations for classroom accommodations and modifications.
