We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Laboratory Scientist to provide exceptional patient care through innovative, efficient, and high-quality laboratory services at Geisinger Health System.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform various analyses from multiple specimen sources to provide the highest level of patient care and maximize patient satisfaction.
  • Maintain expected level of productivity and manage multiple work processes efficiently.
  • Handle specimens properly, confirm identification and specimen suitability, and perform instrument maintenance and quality control.
  • Assist in training and orientation of new employees and participate in educational activities to maintain current knowledge in the field.

Position Details:

  • Schedule: Part time, Days
  • Work Hours: 7:00 am - 15:30 pm
  • Department: System Blood Bank Team
  • Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field (Preferred), Minimum of 1 year experience in a clinical laboratory (Preferred)
