Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning and Organization Specialist to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment, ensuring a positive customer experience, and supporting the overall success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the operation of floor care equipment and adherence to cleanliness standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support the sales floor team by maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing store environment.
  • Participate in store recovery efforts, including cleaning and organizing the sales floor, stockroom, and other areas of the store.
  • Adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards, including maintaining accurate records and reporting any issues or concerns to management.
  • Cross-train in other areas of the store to support business needs and provide backup support to colleagues.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and operate floor care equipment.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to listen and respond effectively.
