Position Overview:
This role involves performing critical technical duties associated with emergency medical services, including driving an ambulance, rescuing and transporting individuals in need, and providing essential medical care during emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate an ambulance and respond to emergency calls.
  • Administer emergency medical treatment to patients.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare necessary reports.
  • Collaborate with other emergency service personnel and healthcare providers.

Knowledge and Skills Required:
  • Ability to comprehend and execute both verbal and written instructions.
  • Familiarity with emergency medical equipment and supplies.
  • Thorough understanding of local geography and road systems.
  • Proficient in assessing patients' conditions and delivering appropriate medical interventions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster effective relationships with colleagues, patients, and their families.

Education and Experience:
Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with Paramedic Certification and three additional relevant certifications. Applications from EMT Basic and Advanced EMT candidates may be considered in the absence of qualified Paramedic applicants.

Special Requirements:
  • This position is subject to random drug testing.
  • Successful completion of physical agility testing is mandatory.
  • Current PPD vaccination is required.

Physical Demands:
This role requires considerable physical effort, including lifting heavy objects and performing various physical activities such as climbing, balancing, and pushing. Effective communication and acute sensory perception are essential for performing job duties safely and efficiently.
