Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Improvement Specialist to join our team at Wexford Health Sources, Inc. As a Quality Improvement Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to justice-involved patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the collection, reporting, and analysis of data to ensure continuous quality improvement for healthcare services.
  • Provide guidance and consultation to leadership on processes, policies, and practices that are not in compliance and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Conduct incident reviews at the request of the NH Department of Corrections.
  • Support auditing and contract compliance efforts, and assist in attaining accreditation if requested by the NH Department of Corrections.
  • Develop reports at the request of the NH Department of Corrections to be responsive to those seeking information as determined by the NH Department of Corrections.
  • Provide quarterly training to security staff on topics such as suicide prevention, working with residents who have mental illness, and managing mental health contacts within a correctional environment.
  • Work with the Division of Medical & Forensic Services leadership on developing an annual patient education plan, executing said plan, and monitoring the plan.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and contract requirements, and align with program evaluation findings and goals.
  • Collaborate with leadership team to assess performance monitoring and implement improvement plans, and to ensure accountability, feedback loops, and monitoring systems.
Requirements
  • Current unrestricted New Hampshire RN license required.
  • Current CPR certification required.
