We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at the Center for Human Development's Enhanced Medical Group Living Environment (EMGLE) facility in East Longmeadow, MA.
Responsibilities- Provide direct care to residents, including personal hygiene, activities of daily living, and adjunct care.
- Assist with serving meals, feeding residents as necessary, and ambulating.
- Administer nonsterile dressings, surgical preps, ice packs, and heat treatments as needed.
- Check vital signs and weight, and record intake and output information.
- Provide comfort to residents by utilizing resources and materials, transporting patients, and reporting observations to the Registered Nurse.
- Utilize our electronic service note portal to complete forms, reports, logs, and records.
- Certification as a CNA
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Valid driver's license with a reliable and insured motor vehicle
- A clear and clean criminal history
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting 45 lbs or more
A competitive hourly wage of $20.00 and an attractive benefit package are available with this CNA opportunity.
