Job Summary:

UnityPoint Health is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including mammography, to help diagnose and treat various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including mammography, to help diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as mammography machines, to produce high-quality images.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure accurate and efficient imaging services.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, imaging procedures, and results.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT certification in Radiology and Mammography.
  • 1-2 years of clinical experience in diagnostic imaging.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
