Overview:
The Chickasaw Nation is committed to delivering high-quality integrated health services to individuals, families, couples, and groups.
As a Family Therapy Specialist, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our clients receive optimal care and support to enhance their overall health and wellness.
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will serve as an integral member of our embedded or co-located integrated healthcare team.By being part of our organization, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of those we serve while benefiting from a nurturing and empowering work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide therapeutic services to families, couples, individuals, and groups as required
- Implement evidence-based assessments into therapeutic practices to evaluate client progress and measure overall effectiveness
- Assist in initiatives aimed at developing and maintaining service referrals
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments
- Utilize an electronic health record system to complete progress notes, treatment plans, and other therapy-related documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards
- Offer clinical mental health consultations and brief interventions for patients upon request from medical professionals and other service providers
- Provide crisis intervention as necessary during standard work hours, with after-hours crisis intervention services provided on a rotational basis
- Maintain a full-time caseload of billable services, engage in therapy-related activities, and contribute to program development
- Keep accurate files, logs, and records
- Prepare reports as needed or requested
- Complete all required training and development and participate in continuing education opportunities
- Collaborate effectively to support the productivity and safety of the work environment, team members, and clients
- Share responsibilities for maintaining adequate supplies and equipment
- Ensure the upkeep of the work area and promote a safe environment
- Identify and address potential environmental hazards and risks
- Uphold and promote professionalism
- Demonstrate punctuality and consistency in meeting work schedules and attendance requirements
- Adhere to the Chickasaw Nation's dress code standards
- May provide coverage for colleagues as assigned
- May assist in other areas as needed based on staffing requirements
- Stay informed of and comply with all relevant laws, regulations, policies, and standard operating procedures
- Participate in outreach initiatives as requested
- Perform additional duties as assigned
