Shop Technician/Driver

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shop Technician/Driver to join our team at FHE. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supporting various shop duties, including wash bay and sandblasting operations, equipment tear down, paint preparation, and other shop support duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support shop duties, including wash bay and sandblasting operations, equipment tear down, paint preparation, and other shop support duties as assigned.
- Drive gasoline or diesel-powered trucks to deliver or pick up materials to or from customers and other various places as directed.
- Accurately complete and submit all necessary paperwork, such as daily logs, inspection reports, receiving and delivery documents, expense reports, etc.
- Deliver and pick up items, with documentation, ensuring accurate capture of what the item/documents is, who requested the transport of the item, who received the item, and obtain proper signature.
- Keep assigned vehicles free from damage, in good working condition, and consistently clean.
- Manage various products and merchandise responsibly while in the act of loading, unloading or transporting items, ensuring that cargo is properly secured to avoid damage or loss.
- Operate vehicles and equipment safely and in a responsible manner.
- Respect and maintain relationship of trust required to maintain a high level of security access to offices and property of company without supervision.
Requirements:
- Driving 1 year CDL (Required)
- Language: English (Required)
- License/Certification: Driver's License - CDL Class A with ability to get Hazmat endorsement
- Good driving record, current medical card and Class A driver's license
- Knowledge of ATF Rules and Regulations regarding handling type 1 explosives and hazardous materials
- Mechanically inclined to work on Pressure Control Equipment
Work Environment:
This position works in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50-75 pounds or more without physical restrictions. Climbing on trailers to secure loads is also required. The use of safety equipment such as safety glasses, steel-toed shoes/boots, gloves, hard hats, and hearing protection daily is necessary.
