Design and Marketing Strategist

We are seeking an experienced Design Consultant to join our Marketing team at Blum, Inc. This is a salaried position with possible bonus opportunities.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $115,000 per year

About the Role:

As a Design Consultant, you will play a critical role in establishing and nurturing relationships within the market. You will collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and provide strategic support for product integration and innovation in kitchen, bathroom, closet, and furniture design spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Market Engagement and Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with kitchen & bath dealers and designers, closet dealers & designers, and interior designers.
• Client Support: Act as the primary contact for these stakeholders, addressing queries and providing support.
• Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Regularly update CRM with relationship details, line representation, and industry insights.
• Product Advocacy: Support Blum's brand, products, and services, emphasizing quality, warranty, and the aesthetic and functional benefits of products.
• Innovation and Feedback: Advocate for new products and innovations with customers and within the organization based on feedback from the field.
• Showroom Health Checks: Conduct showroom health checks to ensure proper display and functionality of Blum hardware.
• Technical Support: Offer technical support and coordinate with installers on where to find information necessary for adjustments during installations.
• Dealer Showrooms: Identify opportunities for additional Blum product displays in dealer showrooms.
• Market Trends: Monitor and report on market trends.
• Activity Logs and Performance Reports: Maintain activity logs in CRM and prepare reports on market engagement and performance.
• Industry Events: Attend major industry events to gather insights on current and future design trends.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, design, or a related field or equivalent experience. Proven experience in sales or consulting within the design industry, particularly with cabinetry products, is essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also required.
