Prosthodontics Professor

Job Title: Assistant Professor of Prosthodontics

Creighton University School of Dentistry is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant Professor of Prosthodontics. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the didactic and clinical curricula of the school through a broad spectrum of patient services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of the curriculum, particularly in preclinical courses and labs, as well as in the clinic.
• Work collaboratively with a team of dedicated faculty to build on a rich legacy of excellence in dental education.
• Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning and engagement.
• Contribute to the development of the department's research agenda and participate in scholarly activities.
• Provide exceptional patient care and service, ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Specialty certification in Prosthodontics from a US accredited program.
• DDS or DMD degree or an equivalent degree from an international program, along with completion of an ADA accredited clinical specialty program.
• Successful completion of Part I and Part II of the National Board Dental Examination or Integrated Board prior to the date of hire.
• Candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Nebraska and acquire credentialing from applicable third-party payer systems.
• 2-4 years prior teaching experience.
• Prosthodontic specialty degree or private practice with documented experience in Prosthodontics is preferred but not mandatory. General dentists are also encouraged to apply.
