Position: Processor Operator

Shift: Nights - 5:45 PM - 6:00 AM

Compensation: $18 per hour

Are you seeking a fulfilling role in the manufacturing sector? Do you possess the expertise to manage and operate machinery for food processing? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Processor Operator.

As a Processor Operator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Complying with all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety standards, and organizational policies.
  • Managing and operating machinery such as kettles, vats, tanks, and boilers to prepare ingredients or products for processing.
  • Adjusting temperature, pressure, and timing controls while initiating and halting conveyors, machines, or pumps.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas using appropriate cleaning agents and methods.
  • Monitoring for equipment malfunctions and taking necessary actions to address issues, including notifying supervisors.
  • Extracting processed materials or products from machinery.
  • Collecting and analyzing product samples during production to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Performing additional tasks as directed by management.

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Communication Skills: Ability to read, comprehend, and effectively convey information to team members.
  • Mathematical Proficiency: Capability to perform basic calculations and conversions.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to apply logical reasoning to follow instructions and solve problems.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Competence in identifying root causes of issues and implementing solutions.
  • Computer Literacy: Basic knowledge of software applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
