Job Title: Corporate Travel RN

Job Summary:

Astella Home Health and Hospice is seeking a skilled and compassionate Corporate Travel RN to join our team. As a Corporate Travel RN, you will provide high-quality home nursing care to clients in Texas, with all travel expenses accommodated.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide and direct the provision of home nursing care, based on agency policies and procedures, through the competent application of the nursing process.
  • Evaluate and regularly reevaluate the nursing needs of clients, initiating, developing, implementing, and making necessary revisions to the client's plan of care.
  • Initiate diagnostic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing procedures as appropriate to the client's care safety, making referrals to other disciplines as indicated by the client's needs.
  • Teach, supervise, and counsel clients and families regarding home nursing procedures and other care needs as appropriate to the client's condition.
  • Coordinate the total plan of care and maintain continuity of client care by liaising with other health professionals assigned to the same clients.
  • Supervise and teach LPN/LVN and home health aide, assessing the client's need for unskilled care and revising the plan of care as appropriate.
  • Develop, prepare, and maintain individualized client care progress records with accuracy, timeliness, and according to policies.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in nursing (A.D.N. or B.S.N) from a program accredited by the National League for Nursing.
  • Licensed to practice professional nursing in the state.
  • Minimum of one year of nursing experience required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to and communicate with primary population served by the agency, and to lesser degree the secondary populations served.

Requirements:

  • Reliable transportation and agency required liability insurance.
  • Valid Texas Driver's License.

Work Environment:

Home visits daily. Weekly office meetings.
