Veterinary Neurology Faculty Position

The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine invites applications for a clinical track, tenure track, or tenured faculty position in veterinary neurology at the rank of assistant, associate, or full professor.
Responsibilities- Teach and provide service in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital
- Teach pre-clinical didactic and laboratory courses in neurology to veterinary students
- Participate in the training of neurology and non-neurology house officers
- Develop a research program, which can be independent or collaborative
- Candidates must have a DVM or equivalent degree
- Completed or be in the process of completing an approved residency of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine or European College of Veterinary Neurology
- Board certification or be eligible for board certification
The Department of Small Animal Medicine and Surgery consists of 50 faculty members, 50 clinical residents, 10 rotating interns, 8 specialty interns, and 3 administrative staff members.
Shared laboratory space and technical support are provided within the department, and there are 7 dedicated research technicians who assist in the research missions of the department's faculty.
