Role Overview: Visa is in search of a highly skilled and motivated Lead Technical Product Strategist within the VAS Product Development team.
The VAS Product Development team is pivotal in diversifying our revenue streams through innovative products that enhance our network and provide valuable solutions across various platforms.
We are looking for a Lead Technical Product Strategist who is proactive, eager to learn and innovate, and capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively.The ideal candidate will have the technical acumen to navigate both business and technological requirements, be comfortable in uncertain environments, and assist in prioritizing deliverables in alignment with product strategy.
They should also possess the ability to drive change and improve efficiency throughout the delivery process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define the vision and direction of the product portfolio, establishing clear and achievable objectives.
- Develop and execute comprehensive product strategies that align with corporate goals and market dynamics.
- Communicate expectations clearly with business partners to ensure transparency during project initiation and manage ongoing interactions throughout project execution.
- Conduct project planning and scheduling, manage tasks, and coordinate resources to achieve project goals and timelines.
- Encourage collaboration among engineering, design, and marketing teams to ensure product development meets customer needs and business objectives.
- Utilize data-driven insights to prioritize product features, enhancements, and improvements.
- Oversee the complete product lifecycle, from ideation and research to design, development, testing, launch, and post-launch evaluation.
- Foster a culture of innovation, motivating the team to propose new ideas and solutions.
- Act as a key liaison between the product team, executive leadership, and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
- Implement best practices in technical product management and promote these practices within the team.
- Engage regularly with customers and key stakeholders to gather feedback, understand their needs, and ensure product-market fit.
This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing employees to alternate between remote and office work. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office a set number of days each week, based on business needs.
