Job Title: Pro Shop Attendant

GreatLIFE Golf is a leading golf course ownership and management company with over 50 courses across multiple states. We are seeking a part-time Pro Shop Attendant to join our team at The Preserve at Jordan Lake in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

Job Summary:

The Pro Shop Attendant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests and members, assisting with the upkeep of the clubhouse and pro shop, and supporting business operations through scheduling tee times, resolving customer concerns, and selling merchandise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse and pro shop, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for guests and members.
  • Support the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth experience for participants.
  • Provide sincere and courteous service to all guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Accurately handle cash and credit transactions, maintaining a high level of integrity and attention to detail.
  • Support business operations by scheduling tee times, resolving customer concerns, and selling merchandise, ensuring a positive experience for guests and members.
  • Assist in educating players regarding course policy, current cart policy, speed of play, and other relevant information.
  • May direct the start of play, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for golfers.
  • Maintain accurate records of golfers renting clubs, ensuring accurate inventory and tracking.
  • Assist with food and beverage activities as needed, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for guests and members.
  • Incorporate safe work practices in job performance, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is essential for this role.
Requirements:

Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands:

Regularly stands, walks, and sits. Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels. Frequently uses hands to finger feel or handle; reaches with arms. Frequently talks and hears. Occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
