Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist

Assured Nursing Inc is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Travel Nurse RN to join our team. This is a contract position in a hospital setting, requiring a high level of expertise and experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the Labor and Delivery department, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for mothers and newborns.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each patient.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication administration, and other aspects of patient care, as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in Labor and Delivery nursing.
- Current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- At least 2 years of recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed
