Salary and Benefits

As a Physical Therapist Assistant with Interim HealthCare, you can expect a competitive salary of around $55,000-$65,000 per year, depending on your experience. In addition to a generous compensation package, we offer excellent benefits, including:

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team based out of South Portland, Maine. As a member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in providing personalized, home-based physical therapy to patients who have lost mobility, strength, and functionality due to an illness or injury.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing home-based physical therapy to patients in need of rehabilitation
  • Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Conducting assessments, documenting progress, and modifying care plans as needed
  • Assisting patients with exercises and hands-on therapy to manage pain and increase mobility
  • Educating patients on their plan of care, established goals, exercises, and self-care
Requirements

To be considered for this rewarding opportunity, you must possess:

  • A valid PTA License in the State of Maine
  • At least one year of experience as a PTA, preferably in home healthcare
  • CPR certification
  • Up-to-date knowledge of state and federal home health regulations
  • Good clinical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, dexterity, and compassion
