At Phalen Leadership Academies, we are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Elementary Music Educators. Our educators are committed to fostering creativity and academic excellence within our classrooms, enhancing the educational journey of our students. As a Music Educator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all students acquire essential skills in instrumental techniques, music theory, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging music instruction that aligns with state standards and promotes student growth in music theory and performance.
- Facilitate choir and band activities, and organize musical events such as concerts.
- Encourage students to express themselves through music, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Utilize data-driven assessments to track student progress and adapt teaching strategies as needed.
Performance Goals:
- Ensure that all students achieve their individual growth targets in music.
- Maintain high levels of student satisfaction through feedback and surveys.
- Support students in meeting their overall academic goals in core subjects.
- Promote consistent student attendance and engagement throughout the academic year.
Qualifications:
- A strong passion for working with students from diverse backgrounds.
- A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution, with relevant endorsements.
- A valid state teaching license or enrollment in a credentialing program.
- Proven ability to use data to inform instructional practices.
