As a vital member of our team, you will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients, encompassing diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of pulmonary conditions.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patient consultations to understand their medical history, symptoms, and concerns.
  • Accurately diagnose and effectively treat various pulmonary disorders, including asthma, bronchitis, emphysema, and other respiratory illnesses.
  • Utilize advanced pulmonological techniques and interpret diagnostic tests such as CT scans, chest fluoroscopies, ultrasounds, and bronchoscopies to facilitate accurate diagnoses.
  • Perform specialized procedures to obtain samples from the chest wall lining or lungs for further analysis.
  • Administer immunizations against preventable respiratory diseases.
  • Maintain meticulous patient records, documenting appointments, test results, treatments prescribed, and other relevant information.
  • Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgeons, providing expert consultation on patient risk status and recommending interventions to minimize potential complications, particularly in cases of tuberculosis.
  • Offer ongoing support and guidance to patients receiving long-term care.
  • Engage in research endeavors focused on the development of novel medications and treatment modalities for respiratory diseases.
Qualifications:
  • Possess an active New York State medical license.
  • Hold board certification or eligibility in pulmonology.
