ABOUT US:

We are a dynamic electrical design and manufacturing firm experiencing significant growth. You will be part of a talented engineering team focused on the development of electronic products, particularly in process control and system management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Control Systems Engineer, you will take the lead in designing and drafting intricate electrical, instrumentation, and control systems with minimal oversight. Your role will include managing detailed technical construction plans and specifications, covering areas such as Power Distribution, Lighting, Motor Controls, and PLC/RTU controls.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Expertise in Process Control and Control Systems Design
  • Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering and Systems Engineering
  • Experience in designing industrial control panels
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Coordination of submittals, change orders, project tracking, and documentation
  • Collaboration with documentation teams to ensure accurate submittal documents
  • Ability to interpret plans and technical specifications for system design
  • Review and amend control panel drawings and bills of materials
  • Participation in project meetings with contractors and clients
  • Management of project material and labor costs
  • Understanding of P&ID Drawings and capability to create I/O lists and PLC diagrams
  • Experience in sizing power circuits for motor controls
  • Proficient in PLC and HMI programming

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in Public Works or Water Treatment projects
  • Master's degree is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
