Supply Chain Systems Optimization Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our Supply Chain team. As a key technical subject matter expert, you will be responsible for ensuring high equipment availability and optimizing system performance in support of successful operation of the supply chain facility. You will use preventive and predictive maintenance processes, rapidly troubleshoot equipment breakdowns, and quickly restore equipment to service.
You will work closely with other Target engineers and operational partners to optimize the performance and flow of material handling equipment. This includes building automation, continuous improvement, and new installation initiatives. Your expertise will be sought after as an escalated support resource during downtime events, ensuring proper processes and training procedures are implemented as part of root cause analysis. Additionally, you will proactively monitor the overall health of the building's material handling equipment and serve as an expert who understands material flow optimization, system controls logic, and facilitates and trains effective troubleshooting techniques.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in industrial electrical hands-on experience and troubleshooting, including 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24VDC systems. Strong organization and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to handle multiple tasks and teams simultaneously. Experience with installing and maintaining various software and hardware, as well as strong knowledge of automated conveyor systems and controls, work order management, preventive/predictive maintenance procedures, and blueprint/schematic reading, are highly valued.
