Role Summary

The Product Compliance Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring that our Personal Lines and Commercial Lines policy documents are precise, compliant, and effectively produced. This position is integral to our mission of delivering competitive coverage products to our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and refine product offerings, including forms, manuals, and member policy packages, to maintain market competitiveness.
  • Prepare and submit filings to the Department of Insurance (DOI) and Office of Insurance Regulation (OIR) for approval of forms and rules.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify areas for improvement against primary competitors.
  • Interpret insurance documents, regulations, and statutes to provide informed recommendations.
  • Regularly assess existing forms and manuals for their effectiveness and compliance.
  • Research external data sources to deliver accurate competitive analysis regarding rates and coverage.
  • Compile and analyze market trends to inform product strategy.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing to ensure accuracy in form modifications and enhancements.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion while adhering to established processes and quality control measures.
  • Perform audits as required and undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency in I-File and SERFF.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience in analyzing insurance forms and regulations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret and prioritize complex information.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Outlook.

Education: A bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S) and a minimum of three years of experience in the Property Casualty or Commercial Lines field are required. Relevant insurance designations are advantageous.
