About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nuclear Medicine Department Lead to join our team at Hillcrest Hospital South. As a key member of our Imaging Services team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating healthcare services in the Nuclear Medicine department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate healthcare services in the Nuclear Medicine department, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient operations.
  • Assist with operational, financial, and personnel activities of the Nuclear Medicine department, including performance improvement, patient satisfaction, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Oversee the performance of Nuclear Medicine Technologists, providing guidance and support to ensure excellence in patient care.
  • Take ownership of special projects, pilot programs, and other duties as requested, including performance improvement, patient satisfaction, and employee engagement activities.
  • Perform routine Nuclear Medicine procedures, producing high-quality images while applying radiation safety and physical safety measures.
  • Assist staff and modality leaders with PACS and EPIC issues and corrections to the system.
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of ICANL accreditation requirements to ensure accreditation.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited two-year Nuclear Medicine Technology training program in a school approved by the Council of Medical Education of the AMA.
  • Two years of directly related experience in a hospital setting.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and advanced certification in Nuclear Medicine or Certified by the NMTCB.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
Preferred Requirements
  • Supervisory experience.
